As of July 1, 2012, commercial businesses, properties, and multi-family housing complexes of five (5) units or more must participate in a recycling program. Help care for the earth by recycling everyday items such as paper, aluminum cans, plastic and glass bottles. Call the centers listed to find out what specific items they accept for recycling. Business Recycling Options
- United Pacific Waste & Recycling Services (UPWRS) is the City's permitted waste hauler and recycling contractor that offers recycling services throughout Huntington Park.
- Contract UPW at 1-866-699-7600 to discuss your commercial recycling options.
- If you choose, another alternative is to donate or sell your recyclable material. This option will meet the conditions of AB341. However, you must provide the City of Huntington Park with proof that the commercial enterprise is participating in a waste diversion/recycling program.
