Tiny Tots Program


The purpose of the Tiny Tots Pre-School Program is to assist parents in building their child’s self-esteem and to help prepare their child for kindergarten.          

Program Goals

  • Become independent.
  • Build self-esteem.
  • Develop social skills.
  • Learn to play together and share with each other.
  • Experience new activities; such as art, crafts, music, dancing, singing and drama.
  • Identify objects such as shapes, colors, numbers and letters.
  • Expand their vocabulary.
  • Create a positive attitude towards school.

Registration Information


There are two semesters per year. Each semester has special events and one parent is required to attend each special event to help supervise their child unless arrangements have been made with the instructor.

Fees


  • $85 (pay with check or money order payable to the “City of Huntington Park”)
  • Spaces are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis.*
  • Children enrolled in first semester may pre-register for second semester. *

Requirements

  • A parent or guardian must bring their “potty-trained” child’s: birth certificate, immunization records, Activity Registration Form and registration fee.
  • Classes are available to 4-5 year old at Salt Lake Park (Must be 4 by October 1st).
