Monday – Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
All customer service, including new customers, billing questions, meter lids missing, new service line connections, fire flow request can be filled by using the contact information above.
The Utility Customer Service Center also handles turning on/off water utility orders, establishing new service, making a payment, or arranging for a field inspection.
How to Establish Service
Service is established in person at the Customer Service Counter. The Customer Service Counter requires following information when you open an account:
- Service address/location
- Your name
- Whether you own or rent your residence
- Driver’s license
- Your home and work telephone numbers
- Mailing address
- Closing escrow statement/or grant deed
- A Complete Utility Application.

If the water at your new address is off and a Utility employee has come out to turn it on, your presence may be required. There is no charge for this service if performed during regular weekday hours as part of the regular turn-on work. However, if this service must be performed on the same day or outside of the regular working hours there is a charge.

Senior Citizen Discounts
To receive senior citizen discounts fill out Senior Citizen Refuse Services Discount Application. To qualify you must be an owner occupant of residential property within the City of Huntington Park who is sixty-two (62) years of age or older, head of household, and are recipients of supplemental security benefits are eligible to receive a 10% discount off of their refuse charges.
