Senior Program

The Huntington Park Senior Program offers people over 62 years older a variety of fun and enjoyable activities at the Huntington Park Community Center. 

The Huntington Park Senior Program will be re-opening to the public soon. The Senior Center will be operating on a modified scheduled and in a limited capacity. Programing will be held on Friday's from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Participation in these sessions is by pre-registration only by contacting the Department of Parks & Recreation at 323-584-6218

Sessions of activities are held from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. every other Friday of the month ONLY
by appointment.

Seniors can participate in any of the following activities during program hours: 

  • Arts and Crafts
  • Recipes of the Month
  • Workshops
  • Knitting Club
  • Basic Computer Skills 
  • Nature Walks 
  • Zumba
  • Chair Zumba

Trips & Dances

In addition to the free daily activities, the Senior Program offers other fun opportunities to socialize including senior dances and our bimonthly casino day trips. There is a small fee for dances and trips.
